Kathleen Saluk Failla Communications and Public Affairs Consultant and Writer Mrs. Failla has more than 30-years experience in communications, public affairs and journalism. She has held executive management positions for such organizations as the International Executive Service Corps, UBS Warburg, the Connecticut League of Women Voters and American Airlines. See resume for full details. She participated as writer and editor in the start up of organization newsletters and magazines for such companies as Bayer, Champion International and Purdue Pharma. Early in her career she worked as a journalist for The Hartford Courant, The New York Times, Business Week, Chemical Week, Engineering News Record among other publications. She holds a B.A. with a major in English and she participated in international studies trips to the Soviet Union, the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong and Japan. She is known for her leadership skills and ability to think and act strategically, solve problems and communicate effectively. She is the author of two books, The Towery Report on Business in Fairfield County (1995) and The Pictorial History of Weston, Conn.
